Problem
Redirect restore of Oracle database(s) fails with the following errors.
Error Message
Final error: 0xe0000340 - The Database script returned an error. Refer to the Database script output section in job logs for more details.
Final error category: Resource Errors
RMAN output section of the job log shows the following error:

Above is a generic error message. To find out the exact cause, enable debugging for Backup Exec Agent for Oracle on the target Oracle server and check the
vxbsa log (
default location: C:\Program files\Veritas\Backup Exec\RAWS\Logs) for details, please Refer to the Technote in the
Related Documents section for information on how to enable debugging for Backup Exec Agent for Oracle.
If the Remote agent utility on the target Oracle server is not configured properly, then
Vxbsa log shows the following error message:
[5548] processVxBSAError - BEError(0xe0001403) The logon account specified in the Remote Agent Utility cannot be authenticated. Update the entry in the list of authentication credentials on the media server.
Cause
The above error in Vxbsa log will be encountered if the account used to connect to Oracle server is not specified correctly under Database Access tab in the Remote agent utility on the Oracle Server.
Solution
The account should be specified in DOMAINNAME\USERNAME (or SERVERNAME\USERNAME in case the oracle server is part of workgroup and not domain) format under
Database Access tab and should match the account specified on the Backup Exec server under Tools-Options-Oracle-Modify List for the Oracle server.
