The following list of Errors, symptoms and solutions may alleviate some of the
Push installation issues being encountered. For push installation of any of the Backup Exec components please refer to the Related Documents section of this article.
Remote Agent Push Installations issues:
1. A "push" installation of Remote Agent for Windows Servers (RAWS) fails with the error "Attempting to connect to server \\test failed with the following error: The server threw an exception." if the Admin Shares are disabled on the remote server.
