Unable to map shared folders with an error "You can't connect to the file share because it's not secure" in SRD wizard.
Problem
Unable to map shared folders of a specific NAS in System Recovery Disk (SRD) wizard.
Error Message
"You can't connect to the file share because it's not secure. This share requires the obsolete SMB1 protocol, which is unsafe and could expose your system to attack.
Your system requires SMB2 or higher. For more info on resolving this issue, see: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=852747."
Cause
SMBv1 is not installed in SRD that is created on Windows 10 / Windows Server version 1709 and later or with ADK 10 1709 and later. The SRD is unable to map shared folders of the NAS that is available for SMBv1 only.
For details, please refer to the below article.
Solution
Please perform 1, 2 or 3.
1. Map shared folders in the SRD wizard after enabling SMBv2 on the NAS.
2. Copy the recovery point files from the NAS to an USB-HDD, and specify the files on USB-HDD in the SRD wizard.
3. Create a new SRD with Advanced mode after installing ADK 1703 or earlier, and map shared folders in the SRD wizard.
NOTE: SMBv1 is enabled in the SRD that is created using ADK 1703 or earlier.
