Problem
Build-in Backup Exec Job Monitor Filters will no longer work when the Backup Exec GUI language is changed from the original installation language to a different language.
There are two ways to specify the Filters
Option 1 - affected:
In the upper bar of the Job Monitor tab, select <Sort and Filter> and then <Jobs>
Option 2 - not affected:
In the upper bar of the Job Monitor tab, select <Sort and Filter>; then <Jobs> and then <Filter> and new Popup window will appear
Solution
Workaround:
Use the second option to manually create\configure Job Monitor Filters
or
Change the language back to the original installation language
There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. While this issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, it is not currently scheduled for any release.
