Mirror plex status is "recoverable" - Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows


The status of the plex of a mirrored volume is listed as "recoverable."


If there is a temporary interruption in data access to the disks, the plexes of the mirror may no longer be synchronized with each other.

Verify that the status of the disk is not failed or failing. If the status of the disk is normal, the volume can be repaired.

1. Right-click on the volume and select "Repair Volume."

2. In the box that appears, select the plex that was listed as "recoverable." The mirror will now begin to resynchronize.

Note: The name of the plex can be determined by selecting the volume and clicking the Subdisks tab.

WARNING: A mirror resynchronization will cause elevated I/O activity on the disk array. In some cases, it may be best to wait until off-peak hours before starting a repair.
