How to request the deletion of a StorSite and/or Stor

Description

This article covers how to request to deletion of a Stor in Veritas Alta SaaS Protection. 

The request can be fulfilled even if there is data already stored in it. But all data will be completely and irrevocably deleted. As completing this request will delete all data a confirmation email needs to be filled out by a Full Administrator of the tenant acknowledging data will be completely erased.   

Follow the steps below: 

• Fill out the following template and then open up a support case and email the filled out template to the support case.
• The Template must be filled out by a Full Administrator in ASP. 
• This can be verified in the ASP Admin Portal by going to Administration > Permissions > Users and Groups
• A Full Administrator will appear as follows:

NOTE: If the confirmation below is not provided, the deletion request will be denied!

For Stor deletion only:

I am confirming our request for Veritas Technologies LLC to delete the Stor <STOR NAME HERE> in <ASP ADMIN PORTAL URL HERE> Tenant. I understand that all data in this Stor will be permanently and irrevocably deleted.

For StorSite deletion with no Stors present:

I am confirming our request for Veritas Technologies LLC to delete the StorSite <STORSITE NAME HERE> which currently has no associated Stors in <ASP ADMIN PORTAL URL HERE> Tenant. I understand that all data in this StorSite will be permanently and irrevocably deleted.

For StorSite and Stor deletion:

I am confirming our request for Veritas Technologies LLC to delete the StorSite <STORSITE NAME HERE> and all associated Stors as listed below in <ASP ADMIN PORTAL URL HERE> Tenant:
<STOR NAMES HERE>
I understand that all data in this StorSite and Stor(s) will be permanently and irrevocably deleted.

• At that point the Support engineer will follow up on the request.
