Error in sgmon log on a Exchange node:

This error can be observed in an Exchange node which has an active IP address of the DAG name.
If the DAG name does not have a IP address (IP less DAG), this error may be observed in the Backup Exec server.

The expected log is:
BEREMOTE: [07/22/16 10:28:35] [27112] [fsys\ese] - [EseE14::ResolveDeviceName]  Backup ... \dag.domain.local\Microsoft Information Store\Mailbox Database 1 => node2.domain.local ... 0x0

A node name should be reported at the right side of [=>] mark, and the last code should be 0x0.
 

Solution

This issue has been addressed in Backup Exec 16.
