SYMPTOM:
Security vulnerabilities in 1.8.0_271 version of JRE

DESCRIPTION:
Bundled the latest JRE version to 1.8.0_281 in the VRTSvlic package.

RESOLUTION:
Providing Patch of VRTSvlic for 1.8.0_281 JRE upgrade.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
1. Install the patch using the following command:
          For RHEL7
             # rpm -Uh --quiet VRTSvlic-4.01.743.200-RHEL7.x86_64.rpm
          For RHEL8  
             # rpm -Uh --quiet VRTSvlic-4.01.743.200-RHEL8.x86_64.rpm
          For SLES12
             # rpm -Uh --quiet VRTSvlic-4.01.743.200-SLES.x86_64.rpm
          For SLES15 
             # rpm -Uh --quiet VRTSvlic-4.01.743.200-SLES.x86_64.rpm
2. Run the following command to verify if the new patch has been installed:
        # rpm -q VRTSvlic

REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
To go back to a previous installed version of the package, you may need to re-install the package forcefully.

1. Remove the patch by using the following command:
        # rpm -e --nodeps VRTSvlic
2. Verify that the patch has been removed from the system:
        # rpm -qa|grep VRTSvlic
3. Install the relevant VRTSvlic package.
4. Reboot.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------
1. Please ignore warning messages during patch upgrade.

2. After patch upgrade, you may observe messages like "This instance of InfoScale is not registered with Veritas" in syslogs. You may also observe same message in syslogs at every 90 days interval.
This has no functional impact and it can be ignored.

3. Supported InfoScale versions : InfoScale 7.4.1, InfoScale 7.4.2 and InfoScale 7.4.3
