Veritas System Recovery delivers superior backup and disaster recovery for servers, desktops, and laptops with a single unified solution that enables businesses to recover from downtime or disasters in minutes. With patented Restore Anyware technology, IT administrators can rapidly restore exactly what they need, when and where they need it — including entire physical and virtual machines to bare metal or dissimilar hardware as well as files, folders, and granular application objects. Unlike other technologies, Veritas System Recovery also provides cross-platform Physical to-Virtual (P2V), Virtual to-Virtual (V2V), and Virtual to-Physical (V2P) recoveries, making it the perfect complement to physical and virtual environments.

The highlight of Veritas System Recovery 22 is the enhancement and re-branding of Veritas System Recovery Monitor as Veritas System Recovery Manager.

This release also includes key capabilities, security, and functionality enhancements.

Veritas System Recovery Manager monitors and manages the remote computers. It helps determine the backup protection status of the remote computers backed up using Veritas System Recovery. It also allows to Create, Edit, Apply, View, Run, and Delete backup jobs to the remote computers.

The release has functionality enhancement in terms of splitting recovery points into smaller files to simplify archiving.

The release also expands the support for Operating Systems and Exchange Servers, namely:

  • Windows Server 2022 support
  • Exchange Server 2019 CU 8
  • Exchange Server 2016 CU 19

So go ahead and try out the latest version that facilitates a more straightforward evaluation with an embedded trialware license.

Refer to the Datasheet and Product Guides for more details on the capabilities.
