Vmware backups failing with status 6 - unexpected termination of client

Problem

Vmware backups for a specific Virtual machine fails with status 6.

Cause

This issue can occur if there is no disk space inside the Virtual machine

Solution

Make sure there is enough disk space inside the VM.
