Description

Veritas Alta Surveillance (VAS) is an employee communications monitoring tool that is available in Veritas Alta Archiving and in the Enterprise Vault (EV) on-premises 14.0 and greater releases.

For VAS on-premises, the VAS website, or URL (uniform resource locator), is in the following format and is dependent on the Compliance Accelerator (CA) server name and port specified during the server installation:

https://<CA Server Name>:<port>

Replace <CA Server Name> with the CA server name and <port> with the port specified for VAS during the CA server installation.

Note - If the port is not known, run the PowerShell command Get-IISSite on the CA server and review the entry for SupervisionWeb. Here is an example:

Name             ID   State      Physical Path                  Bindings
----             --   -----      -------------                  --------
SupervisionWeb   3    Started    C:\Program Files               https *:81: sslFlags=None
                                 (x86)\Enterprise Vault
                                 Business
                                 Accelerator\SupervisionWeb

In this example, https *:81 indicates the port is 81 and also indicates server name can be used in place of the *.

Example:

  • For CA server named CA01 and port 81: https://CA01:81

For Veritas Alta Archiving, the VAS website, or URL (uniform resource locator), is in the following format and is dependent on the Data Center name:

https://advancedsupervision.<Data Center>.veritas.com/#/

Replace <Data Center> with the applicable Data Center name.

Examples:

Note - Alta Archiving VAS may not be available in all Data Centers.
