Problem

Inventory fails with error robot number and robot host mismatch (61)

Error Message

robot number and robot host mismatch (61)

Cause

The Robot Control Host for the robot was changed.  As an example, if the Primary Server is a clustered server, when the Primary server failed over to the new node it did not change the robot control host on all the media.   This can also happen if a Media Server that was the Robot Control Host is removed from the environment or downed and a different Media Server takes control.

Solution

1)Move all of the media's in the robot to 'standalone' using below steps-

NetBackup Admin console>Media and Device Management>Media>Robots>click on the robot number>highlight all of the media in the robot on right hand side>Move >Uncheck "Volume is in a robotic library"> Select OK

2)Inventory the robot(NetBackup Admin console>Media and Device Management>Media>Robots >click on the robot number>Inventory Robot)
