Santa Clara, Calif. – September 12, 2019 – Veritas Technologies, a worldwide leader in enterprise data protection and software-defined storage, today announced the appointment of Mike Walkey as vice president of global channel sales, strategic partners and alliances. Walkey will be responsible for Veritas’ worldwide ecosystem of channel partners and the company’s alliances with Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft and other cloud providers.

Walkey most recently served as senior vice president of strategic partners and alliances at Hitachi Vantara, where he was responsible for leading end-to-end global business unit activities, IT initiatives, online and traditional marketing, partnerships, and business development operations. Prior to Hitachi, he held vice president positions in logistics and product management at Flextronics International, Buy.com, and Ingram Micro.
Walkey has a bachelor’s degree in management from Pepperdine University.
