Digital Badging

Veritas has always been committed to helping members achieve success by offering industry recognized credentials that are validated through certification.

As part of our learning offering, we have partnered with Credly to provide digital badges for Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) credentials, Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) credentials, and the available Education training courses.

What is Digital Badging?

Digital badges are digital images that can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.

As an active earner, you can display the badge in your email signature, on social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, and on electronic copies of a resume.

What are the benefits of a digital badge?

  • A web-enabled version of your credentials that can be shared online
  • An efficient way of posting your learning achievement to social media platforms
  • Labor market insights that relate your skills to jobs
  • A trusted method for real-time credential verification, which increases industry credibility
