Veritas FY23 Partner of the Year Award Winners for Asia Pacific and Japan

On 12 May 2023 during the Channel Sales Kickoff webinar, I announced the winners of the FY23 Partner Awards for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). The awards recognise the top channel partners for their contributions to Veritas’ business as demonstrated by overall performance, programme adoption, excellence in technical innovation, and strategic implementation of Veritas solutions.

This year, a total of nine awards – two APJ and seven Regional – were presented to partners from Asia South & Pacific Region, Greater China Region, Japan, and Korea.


Our two Top APJ Award winners are:

JUN I&C has been a hugely valuable Veritas business partner in Korea for over 18 years. They have developed deep technical skills with a significant commitment to Veritas’ business. JUN I&C achieved momentous progress during the fiscal year.

Etevers, in Korea, considers Veritas as a key solutions provider, completing its technology solution map for their partners. They have been instrumental in increasing Veritas’ market footprint by promoting our solutions to over 1,000 partners in their partner ecosystem.


For the Regional Awards, this year’s recipients are:

Veritas’ partnership with Indonesia’s PT Berca started in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength in the last four years by focusing on Telco, Financial Services and Insurance and Manufacturing industries. PT Berca has shown their commitment in their partnership with Veritas by investing in a dedicated team which are highly technically certified and supporting customers in their digital transformation journeys.

Systex is a platinum partner in Taiwan. Despite the tough economic situation in the country, their commitment to Veritas stood out. They achieved this by focusing heavily on new segments like Banking and expanding their scope by going after new logos.

  • FY23 Top Partner New Business Growth (North Asia Region) – NOX CO LTD

In FY23, NOX successfully developed its business in Japan, which led them to become our second Platinum Partner in Japan. In addition, NOX places heavy focus on Ransomware Protection Business Continuity with NetBackup Flex Appliances, contributing to building awareness and deployments. In FY24, NOX is also planning to add ALTA Recovery Vault to their portfolio to expand and develop their business.

DSTi, our partner in Korea, made remarkable business development with Veritas solutions. Their success can be attributed to an increased focus on winning new customers and bringing them into the Veritas family.

With Ingram Micro’s focus on cloud, advanced and specialty technology solutions, they have proven to be an indispensable business partner of Veritas. Over the years they have become a bridge for Veritas to effectively reach both customers and partners. In FY23, they continued to create value through efficiency, demand generation, access to markets and customers – with a dedicated and passionate team focused on helping Veritas achieve more. This dedication has enabled Ingram Micro to maintain their position as the largest distributor for Veritas in Asia South & Pacific Region.

Digital China is our largest distributor in the Greater China region. In FY23, China businesses have suffered a lot during the pandemic, with tight mobility control and lockdowns in the major cities across the country. With a strong sales and technical team remotely supporting resellers in China via increased webinar enablement sessions, remote contracts preparation and increased flexibility in financial arrangement, they successfully supported our Veritas business despite these challenging circumstances.

Daesang IT is a vital distributor in Korea and is recognised across the industry as the top value-added distributor. They achieved amazing business development with a strong focus on acquiring new partners and customers. In addition, Daesang IT provided incremental value through training sessions, marketing support and technical support to these new partners.
