NetBackup server and client software requirements
Verify that the following requirements are met for the NetBackup server and client software for the Enterprise Vault agent:
The Enterprise Vault agent is automatically installed as part of the NetBackup client software. No custom installation is necessary. The NetBackup server platform can be any Windows platform that NetBackup supports. For more information, see the NetBackup Installation Guide.
The Enterprise Vault agent is a part of the NetBackup client software. The NetBackup client software must be installed on every system that either hosts Enterprise Vault SQL Server data or is an Enterprise Vault server. (If the Enterprise Vault server is also a NetBackup server, the client software is installed along with the NetBackup server software.)
Verify that you have the supported Windows and Enterprise Vault version.
