Unable to get Schedule Reports in NetBackup Operations Manager (NOM) after an upgrade to 6.5.4

Solution

Overview:
Unable to get Schedule reports in NOM after upgrade to 6.5.4

Details:
The issue has been seen only with Schedule Reports not working. Emails are been sent successfully using Standard Reports.
The one time report does not work either. If a new report is created one time report works for it however Schedule Report does not work.

Errors:
Please check Reporting=>Schedule Reports it will show the error in the Results column.
"Please specify a valid SMTP server to email reports"

Solution:
  • Go to Settings=>System
  • Check the SMTP server name(change if incorrect)
  • Click on Update

 

This will resolve the issue.
