0xe000fe29 - Authentication failed on connection to the server. Make sure that the user account has the appropriate permissions and that the password was typed correctly.

RESOLUTION:
 
1. Reset the password of the System Logon Account from Active Directory.
 
2. If the password was changed in Active Directory, change the password accordingly in Backup Exec the following way:
 
  • Select "Network | Logon Accounts"
  • Highlight the account System Logon Account and select "Edit"
  • Select "Change Password" and enter the new password under "Password" and "Confirm"
3. Run the backup job again
