Solaris sun4v clients cannot be registered to the Bare Metal Restore (BMR) DB. As a result, backup jobs end in a Status 1 (the requested operation was partially successful) and BMR info is not collected.

Review the client's bmrsavecfg.log which is originator id 121.

There is currently no workaround which will allow the registration of the client or an update to an existing BMR DB for this client.
Please contact Symantec technical support, referencing this TechNote ID and Etrack 1703721 to obtain a fix for this issue. If applicable, also ensure that fix 1724279 is obtained, which addresses the Prepare to Restore (P2R) issue described in the related documents section, below.

Symantec has acknowledged that the above mentioned issue (Etrack 1704342) is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Symantec is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This issue is currently scheduled to be addressed the following release update.
