If a push installation of RAWS fails with errors and a local installation is not updating correctly, the following steps can be performed to work around this issue:

For a 32bit remote Windows machine:

1. Copy the RAWS32 folder from the location on the media server listed below to the remote server that needs the Remote Agent installed.
\PROGRAM FILES\Symantec\Backup Exec\Agents

2. Double-click on RAWSxxxxxxHFxx.msp file located in the updates folder:

For a 64bit remote Windows machine:
1. Copy the RAWSX64 folder from the location on the media server listed below to the remote server that needs the Remote Agent installed.
\PROGRAM FILES\Symantec\Backup Exec\Agents

2. Double-click on RAWSxxxxxxHFxx.msp file located in the updates folder

Note: First install the latest Service Pack (eg.RAWS322213RSP1, RAWS322213RSP2 , etc. ) and then install the files installed after the service pack by arranging the files according to data.

Note: A reboot may be needed to successfully update RAWS.
