This issue has been identified as a conflict between the bundled component installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 when the host has .NET Framework 3.0 or higher installed. The private fix skips the installation of .Net 2.0 SP1 for SFW and SFW-HA 5.1.

NOTE: This private fix is not specific to Windows 2003 or Windows 2008. The private fix is specific to the 32-bit and 64-bit platform.
NOTE: Once the patch has been applied, execute the installation again. If the installation fails with an error that the product has already been installed, uninstall SFW-HA 5.1 from Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Storage Foundation for Windows High Availability 5.1 (Server Components). Once the uninstall has completed successfully, reboot the server and execute the installation and SFW-HA 5.1 should now install without failing with the status of Asia.
