Problem

When performing restore of DB2 database to a point-in-time before the most recent backup set, the rollforward command would fail

Error Message

SQL1275N The stoptime passed to roll-forward must be greater than or equal to "", because database "" on node(s) "0" contains information later than the specified time.

Solution

When performing restore of DB2 database to a point-in-time before the most recent backup set (Fig1 and Fig2), the rollforward command would fail and the SQL1275N was reported in DB2 Output section in the job log.

Permanent resolution:
This issue has been permanently resolved in Backup Exec 12.0 for Windows Servers.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, follow these steps:

1. make sure of  DB2 service account (Fig3)

2. open property of the restore job, then create and select a logon account which is the same user name with the DB2 service account (Fig4)
