Beremote.exe crashes on virtapi.dll. The job will fail with the error message noted below, and the crash will appear in the Application Event Viewer.
Final error: 0xe000035e - The Backup Exec Agent for Microsoft Exchange was not used to create the last full backup of this database. You must use the Exchange Agent to run a full backup before you run a differential or incremental backup.
This issue is still under investigation.
Disable GRT backups and use a Recovery Storage Group or Recovery Database to restore the individual Exchange mail items as necessary.

This issue has been observed when the backup is targeted to a deduplicated CIFS share on an appliance such as a Data Domain or Exagrid device.
