Unexpected results, up to and including data loss, may occur when True Image Restore with move detection is enabled in a NetBackup policy which also has Accelerator enabled.
The initial symptom will be a backup that appears to complete successfully, but which will not be restorable. Subsequent Accelerator-enabled backups from the same policy will attempt to reference the previous backup and fail reporting status codes 13 (file read failed) and/or 84 (media write error).
The formal resolution for this issue (Etrack 3458583) is included in the following release:
- NetBackup 7.6 Maintenance Release 2 (126.96.36.199)
More information on this release can be found in the Related Article linked below.
Beginning in NetBackup 188.8.131.52, True Image Restore with move detection information is skipped for Accelerator backups regardless of how the setting is configured.

All versions of NetBackup through 7.6 GA (184.108.40.206) are affected when Accelerator is enabled.
NetBackup Accelerator was introduced in NetBackup 7.5 GA.
