Unable to vew all the drives in the restore Job after a successful File Folder GRT AVVI backup of a virtual machine

Backups using the Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI) completes successfully but the restore view does not show all the drives for the file and folder restore.

This issue is observed in the following configuration:

  • A virtual machine has multiple disks
  • The first disk is basic MBR
  • The remaining disks are dynamic MBR

As a workaround, running the backup of the virtual machine using the Remote Agent will allow all of the drives to be displayed as expected.
