Backup Exec Remote Agent (Beremote.exe) terminates in Faulting Module bevs.dll when Backing up a Hyper-V guest on a Windows 2012 R2 Hyper-V host.

When performing a Hyper-V agent backup of a Virtual machine located on a WIndows 2012 R2 Hyper-v host the Backup Exec Remote agent crashes on the Hyper-v host.

 Windows Server 2012 R2 is currently not supported in Backup Exec 2012.




Run backups of Virtual Server as a physical using Remote Agent for Windows.


Windows 2012 R2 will be supported in a future Version and or Service pack of Backup Exec.
