On a Windows 2008 R2 media server, the Bengine.exe process crashes against faulting module begine.exe during the backup of file system components from a remote Windows 2012 server. The job log itself reports a loss of connection to the remote agent, however a review of the event logs shows that bengine crashed at the time of the job error.

This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 2014 or later versions.
