Application data not available for restore after successful APPGRT backup.


After performing a successful AVVI agent backup of a virtual machine with the Application Granular Restore Technology (APPGRT) option enabled, the restore selections for the applications may not be available for restore.  The full virtual machine has been backed up but the granular restore selections are not visible for applications.



Perform Remote Agent backups of the VMWare guest machine to allow restore of application data.

This issue is currently under investigation by Symantec Corporation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
