NSF Import fails with 'Domino Server is unavailable' if the target user's mailbox has been deleted

Problem

The NSF Import fails with the error 'Domino Server is unavailable' and Event ID 7013 if the user's mailbox has been deleted from the Domino server.

This might happen in case it is necessary to import NSF archives for users who have left the company and for which the person documents and the mailbox databases were deleted.

Workaround

In order to allow the NSF Import to get started it is possible to manually create the mailbox database(s) on the Domino Mail Server; so from Domino Admin go to File \ Application\ New and create an application with the same location and name of the previuously deleted mailbox database.

It is not required to alter the newly created ACL database application.
