Cause

When running a backup with SSR, since all files are not completely uninstalled from Norton Ghost, SSR will attempt to use the old snapshot provider from Norton Ghost instead of the snapshot provider required with SSR.

Solution

Remove any remaining files that were associated with the install directory path of Norton Ghost.

Files that can cause this issue for example are:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Ghost\Shared\Drivers\SymSnapProviderx64.dll
