Enterprise Vault for Domino: embedded attachments in Calendar and Mail item bodies cannot be opened; users are getting 'Note Item not found'


Enterprise Vault for Domino: embedded attachments in Calendar and Mail items bodies cannot be opened from the item preview after having been archived by Enterprise Vault.

Please note that embedded attachments in calendar bodies can be properly opened clicking the hyperlink in the feet of the calendar item, while for mail archived items they are openable after having retrieved the archived items.


This issue occurs if users, after having added any attachments to the mail or calendar items, have dragged and dropped the attachment(s) within the body; this user action modifies the document properties $FILE changing the 'File Name' to something Lotus Notes hardcoded
