On a NetBackup 5200 or 5220 series appliance, the web interface is unavailable and returns the message below.
HTTP Status 503 - Servlet action is currently unavailable
Reset the web interface (GUI) on the appliance by following these steps:
1. SSH into the appliance.
2. Navigate to the command line:
Support > Maintenance > (admin password) > elevate
3. Stop the GUI:
4. Rename both of the webapps folders:
mv /opt/SYMCnbappws/webserver/webapps/appliance /opt/SYMCnbappws/appliance_backup
mv /opt/SYMCnbappws/webserver/webapps/appliancews /opt/SYMCnbappws/appliancews_backup
