Backup Exec 2012 revision 1798 Service Pack 3
This Service Pack (SP3) contains added platform support, critical updates, and enhancements for Backup Exec 2012 revision 1798.
New features/enhancements are included in this release:
- VMware vSphere 5.5 support (see TECH212668)
- Provides the ability to protect and recover Exchange 2010/2013 environments using minimum permissions (see TECH212113)
- Hitachi VFP 70 NDMP support
- Nexan NST5000 NDMP support

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are upgrading from a previous version of Backup Exec or installing for the first time, please be sure you have the latest Backup Exec 2012 installation media with SP3 embedded (the downloaded file will have SP3 in the filename). To obtain the latest install media, have your serial number available and go to MyVeritas portal (See http://www.veritas.com/docs/000100418) to download. The Backup Exec 2012 SP3 embedded media will be available in 5-7 days after the initial release of the service pack.

Uninstalling this Service Pack
This Service Pack cannot be uninstalled.
The date and times in the file list are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
