A security warning is displayed when opening Archive Explorer which may or may not be able to be clicked past. In the most extreme case, Archive Explorer will be inaccessible.

Error Message

“The current web page is trying to open a site in your Trusted sites list. Do you want to allow this?”.

The Internet Explorer security setting "Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone" has been changed from its default setting of "Enable", to either "Prompt" or "Disable".

As Archive Explorer is opened in the Internet zone, when it tries to navigate to the Trusted Sites zone that the EV server is most likely placed in, anything other than the default setting of 'Enable' will cause a security response from Archive Explorer that will either be a security warning, or the blocking of access altogether.

The current workaround is to use the default Internet Explorer security setting of "On", if permittable.
