Hotfix for Enterprise Vault 10.0.3, Build 1090: Unable to restore items to Exchange 2013 mailboxes if they were archived from older versions of Exchange

Problem

Changes to the handling of certain mail item properties in Exchange 2013 prevent Enterprise Vault from restoring items to Exchange 2013 mailboxes, if the items were archived from earlier versions of Exchange.

Error Message

An Event ID 2227 may be generated when the item fails to restore.

Event ID: 2227
Description:
User 'domain\user' failed to restore an item into mailbox 'User 1'.

V-437-2227

Solution

After you install this hotfix, Enterprise Vault no longer copies the values from the PR_RTF_IN_SYNC or the PR_RTF_COMPRESSED properties in the saveset to the item being restored to the mailbox.
