VRTSexplorer on SFHA 6.0.1 fails to gather system configuration details on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 SP2 with Kernel updates beyond 3.0.13-0.27.1

Problem

VRTSexplorer from Storage Foundation High Availability Solutions 6.0.1 fails to gather system configuration details on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 SP2 with Kernel updates beyond 3.0.13-0.27.1 such as 3.0.26-0.7.6, 3.0.31-0.9, 3.0.38-0.5.1 or later. SUSE released multiple kernel updates after the SLES 11 SP2 base release to address some critical issues. Customers using these more recent kernel versions on SLES 11 SP2 will experience errors while using VRTSexplorer of Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 6.0.1.

Download the latest version of VRTSexplorer from https://sort.symantec.com/dc_download/get_dc/linux_x64
