Ghost restore jobs show up as completed restore jobs in the activity monitor due to OpsCenter reporting.


Every 1 to 2 minutes a restore job appears in the activity monitor.

Error Message

The restore jobs appear with only a resource request and resource granted message inside of the job's detailed status section.


It has been found that data collection inside of OpsCenter can trigger these restore jobs.

To prevent the restore jobs from occuring, please disable the 'breakup jobs option' inside of OpsCenter as documented in the NetBackup 7.5 OpsCenter Administrator Guide under the heading 'About the Breakup Jobs Option' on page 334.
