The expiration date for backup sets created by a duplicate backup job targeted to either tapes or RDX disk cartridges shows an incorrect date. The actual overwrite protection period is set according to the media set properties specified in a duplicate job regardless of the expiration date shown in the 'Backup Sets' properties.
- This issue is only for backup sets created by a duplicate backup job. The backup sets created by a backup job show a correct expiration date.
- The media set will show the correct expiration date and, depending on job start and media protection settings in the environment, will allow the media to be overwritten against the dates provided in the media set
- To see the media overwrite details within a media set for BKF files held on RDX media requires a registry amendment
- The media overwrite details for IMG folders held on RDX media cannot be seen within a media set
