After a successful restore of a SQL Database, the database is left un-attached when the option for "Leave the database nonoperational" is selected.

When performing a restore of a SQL database that was backed up with a VSS Snapshot the restore may not attach the database to the SQL Server if "Leave the database nonoperational; additional transaction logs or differential backups can be restored" is selected. 


This issue only occurs when the backup used snapshot technology for the SQL backup.
