The Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Systems service (beremote.exe) on a remote server intermittently crashes in bedssql2.dll during a SQL consistency check when backing up a SQL server.
The following error is reported in an application event log when the process crashes.

This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 2014 or later versions.
To resolve this issue and receive the new Backup Exec improvements please upgrade to the current version of Backup Exec.

WORKAROUND (Backup Exec 2010 and 2012)
Do not run a consistency check before a backup, and schedule it to run in the SQL server from outside Backup Exec instead.
