Problem

Index was out of Range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection: Parameter name: index , and GUI crashes when trying to create a new backup definition for a server group.

Error Message

Index was out of Range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection

Cause

The incremental task is removed and replaced by a differential task in the creation of the backup definition.

Solution

Select a Group of Servers, right click and Select Backup to Disk and Duplicate
to Tape
Once that is selected a pop up with the Full, Incremental and Duplicate appears
Allow the job to be created as is (with the Incremental)
Once the job appears, Select Edit
Select Edit on the Job Box
Delete the Incremental Job
Select Add Backup Jobs By Method
Select Differential
Select OK
Select OK
The Incremental will Disappear from the UI and moments later the Differential
will appear in its place without any errors
