Problem

In the GUI of Data Insight 2.5.1, the "Scan Errors" under "Diagnostics" are not reporting errors.

Solution

Its work-around contains the following:

 In the GUI's 'events' view, one can apply
- severity filters
- date filter
- text filter
- event source (Data Insight server) filters.

In order to narrow down on scan failures, one can apply a severity filter =“severe” and text filter with text “failed”.

Or, one can search on event IDs:
v-378-1312-102        for full scan failure
v-378-1312-105        for incremental scan failure.

 

Its fix will be in Data Insight 3.0RU1.
