Using Symantec System Recovery (SSR), recovery point set backups are intermittently not running according to the defined schedule. This may occur without any errors in the Windows Event logs or the SSR logs.
The following may be seen in the Windows Application Event Logs, even when a previous backup job is not in progress:
Medium Priority Info: Error EBAB03F1: Following Operating System error occurred while performing requested operation: 'Operation aborted.'
Info 6C8F17E7: An automatic recovery point was not created because an earlier recovery point from the same job was still in progress. 0x80004004 (Symantec System Recovery)
When the time sync function between the host and virtual guest is enabled, the Windows System Event Log may show reoccuring time changes:

Description: The system time has changed to 2014-10-30T16:07:53.375000000Z from 2014-10-30T16:07:53.454265600Z.
If there is not a previous backup job in progress when the error occured, disable the time-sync option between the host and the guest.
