This hotfix contains a recommended fix for Backup Exec 2012.

Prerequisites
- Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.

Post requisites
- A full backup is required after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.

Issue(s) resolved
- Backup Exec remote agent service crashes during GRT backup of VMware virtual machine (TECH183404)
- 0xe00095b4 - Incremental\\Differential backup methods are not supported for this VM. The backup job failed, since the option 'to fall back to a full backup' was not selected. After Applying Hotfix 182237 (TECH188713)
- Backup of a virtual machine using the Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI) completes with the following exception when GRT is enabled: "Failed to mount one or more virtual disk images" (TECH179734)
- Bengine.exe crashes on MSVCR100.dll when delayed catalog job runs for SharePoint 2010 GRT backup. (TECH189538)
- BENGINE crash in MSVCR100.dll during P2V conversion job. (TECH194051)
- Exchange 2007 GRT backup fails with error “0xe00002f7 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup” error after applying Hot Fix 164659. (TECH174309)
- Backup Exec remote agent crashes during the backup of Exchange 2010 stand-alone server with additional VSS provider present on the Exchange server. (TECH181527)
- After Disaster Recovery, SharePoint backups fail for SPUserCodeV4\Metadata (TECH182628)
- After upgrade to Backup Exec 2012 Beremote.exe service crashes when running Exchange 2010 GRT backups. (TECH189251)
- GRT backup of Exchange 2003 to tape doesn't show individual items beyond folder level in restore selections (TECH185710)
- Backup Exec 2012 remote agent service (BEREMOTE.EXE) terminates in Faulting module MSVCR100.DLL (TECH189437)
- beremote.exe, version: 14.0.1798.0, time stamp: 0x4f1e02d7 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll during backups of Microsoft SQL (TECH194052)
- Sharepoint databases hosted on a default instance of SQL server are not excluded from the SQL agent backup of that server (TECH190990)
- Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure based backup of a virtual machine running SharePoint and SQL hangs in snapshot processing (TECH183424)
