servername.txt file generated: |##|Error|##| /bin/cat: /etc/issue: No such file or directory
The Suse Linux host does not have /etc/issue file, which CCS uses to determine the Linux OS details, and based on the type and version CCS determines whether to perform storage discovery or not.
On the MS (Management Server),
1) Backup the two files listed below and replace them with the two files provided in the linked .zip file.
C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage\lib\RHLinuxScript.sh
C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage\lib\perl\VRTS\HAL\RH\ScriptParser\Linux.pm
2) Generate the text file for normal Agentless discovery with the new script (RHLinuxScript.sh) and place in the /ext directory
3) Verify the storage data gets discovered in the CCS GUI Console by drilling down on the host for the storage information collected.
