Segments smaller than 14 bytes are not loaded into the cache when Content Router is restarted, which causes the Content Router Queue Processing to fail

Problem

When the Content Router is restarted, segments smaller than 14 bytes are not loaded into the cache; this causes Content Router Queue Processing failures

Error Message

The following error message is seen in the storaged.log:
 

ERR [1079023936]: 25002: StorageCacheDeleteObject(): Failed to delete a segment with fingerprint 6d575c0318b8003a9b722a433925b66f that should be present in the cache (no such object). Potential cache corruption - Aborting!
 

Solution

This is fixed in Backup Exec 2010 R3 Hotfix 159961
