Installation of System Recovery / Backup Exec System Recovery(BESR) using the downloaded media, fails with the error,
"Error 1311, Source file not found" and the system prompts to retry or cancel the installation.
This issue may occur when the installation files are not extracted from the downloaded zip file.
1. Confirm that the files are completely extracted.
2. If the issue persists, download and install an alternate archive program (such as WinRar) and use the same to extract the installer files to a new location.
3. If this does not work it is likely that the file downloaded is either incomplete or corrupt
4. If the files are corrupt, login to MyVeritas portal (See http://www.veritas.com/docs/000100418) and re-download the installation files.
