Lotus Domino server fails to complete a resync of the DAOS catalog after restoring NLO files

Problem

After restoring the DAOS-enabled Domino databases, Backup Exec launches resync of the DAOS catalog.  The error below may occur if the resynchronization process fails because Domino server response times are slow.

Final error: 0xE0009A94 - The Lotus Domino server failed to complete a resync of the DAOS catalog after restoring NLO files.
Final error category: Job Errors

 

Solution

If Domino server performance appears to be slower than it normally is, consider rescheduling the restore job to run at a time when the server is performing optimally.  
Also ensure that DAOS catalog file daoscat.nsf is present on the Domino server.
