How to determine the status of a volume format or a mirror resynchronization operation in Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows

Problem

After issuing a volume format or mirror resynchronization, the status of the operation may not be immediately visible from Veritas Enterprise Administrator (VEA).

Solution

Status tab, as seen in Veritas Enterprise AdministratorTo determine the status from VEA, follow these steps:

1. Click the "Tasks" tab at the bottom of the window (Figure 1). The status pane appears, listing the status of current operations. 

2. Notice the "Progress" column. The status of each operation will be shown as a percentage bar.
