Prerequisites

- Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.

 

Post requisites

- A full backup is recommended after installing this hotfix.
- The IDR recovery media (the ISO created through the IDR Wizard) needs to be recreated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Linux/Unix/Macintosh Servers (RALUS/RAMS) will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.

 

Issue(s) resolved

    * Backups remain queued indefinitely when targeted to a SATA removable disk device with a mounted write-protected cartridge
    * New device support for Dell Spartan DSFS NDMP platform.
    * Backup Exec UI does not show “system version” and “os info” for Dell Spartan NDMP server
    * New device support for Veritas FileStore NDMP platform.
    * Backup Exec does not attempt to connect to all IPs in DATA_LISTEN
    * When full set restore is selected and DAR is enabled, the restore fails
    * DAR enabled single directory restore fails when selection is made by selecting parent and then de-selecting siblings.
    * New Device Support HP ESL GE tape library
    * (LSI): Device discovery should use the "NRNU*h" attribute for devices attached to the LSI OnStor
    * OST opt-dupe support added for FalconStor FDS series
